What’s New with MaxxStick?

1. Plug-and-Play Convenience:

Gone are the days of navigating through complex setups. With our new firmware, your MaxxStick is immediately recognized as an X-input device on your computer. No need for the MaxxStick app or other drivers like the virtual Gamepad emulator driver. Just plug in, and you’re ready to play!

2. Introducing the MaxxStick Utility:

To enhance your experience, we’ve launched a BRAND NEW utility accessible at maxxstick.com/maxx. This utility is your one-stop shop for accessing additional features and fine-tuning your Pro series device to your gaming style.

3. Customizable Operating Modes:

Choose from X input, keyboard, and direct input modes with ease. We’ve also simplified the switch between these modes, making it more user-friendly than ever.

4. Advanced Polling Rate and Calibration:

Customize how often your MaxxStick communicates with your computer with adjustable polling rates. Enjoy enhanced calibration for a full range of motion and precision in your gameplay.

5. Retained and Enhanced Features:

How to Install the New Firmware:

Upgrading your MaxxStick is a breeze! Here’s a simple guide:

  1. Enter Program Mode: Disconnect the USB, use a paperclip to press the button at the bottom of the MaxxStick, and while pressing, reconnect it. This action creates a thumb drive on your PC.
  2. Upload the Firmware: Locate the new drive, download the firmware file from our mailing list, and copy it over.
  3. Start and Calibrate: Once copied, the firmware activates. Perform a quick calibration by moving the stick and pressing it to finalize.
