Yes, it does if you want to use it as an analog controller, but if you want to use it as a keyboard movement it does not require any software beyond converting it and updating the firmware to our latest keyboard firmware.

Yes, it should! Most games should be able to either support the full analog mode or the keyboard and mouse mode.
